30: I Made It

I have a wrinkle 

A worry line
In between my eyes 

I like to think it’s from 
Squinting at the bright sun in Mexico 
Concentrating on a concept in a loved book
Confused frown that I ordered a gin and tonic 
and this was most definitely soda

I ran to the bathroom mirror 
To the bedroom mirror 
Frantic 
I have a wrinkle!
I’m so grateful I lived long enough to experience 
This wrinkle
